September 2016: SQL Server 2016 – R Served 3 Ways
You may have heard of this thing called R? Do you know what it’s good for? Did you know that it is included in SQL Server 2016 now.
In this session Justin will show practical examples from 3 points of views. The SQL Server DBA, Business Intelligence Developer and a .NET Developer. We will look at some of the things you can achieve with R Services and the language from not only as a statistical programming language but predictive and other examples such as Azure Machine Learning. Even if this is not on your immediate radar there will be lots of examples and discussions on how you could integrate into your pipeline. If we have time we will even see how Power BI can take output and present to the end users.
